The “Do It Now” Mindset

You’re not behind. You’re just not doing what matters. As best-selling author, Brian Tracy, says, “Do it now!”

That means two things: Connect with prospects and post content.
And if you’re in insurance sales, which means two things:

You know you should be prospecting. You know you should be active on LinkedIn.

But instead…You scroll. You plan. You make “a list” of things you’ll do… later.

Let me be blunt: later is killing your pipeline. You don’t need another strategy session.
You need to make the connection. Write the post. Show up. Right now.

  • Too many producers hide behind busywork:
  • You rearrange your CRM.
  • You build color-coded spreadsheets.
  • You draft 14 versions of a LinkedIn post you’ll never publish.
  • That’s not sales. That’s stalling.

Brian Tracy had it right.  “Do it now” is a mindset. Say it to yourself every time you feel the urge to wait or procrastinate: “Do it now.” Say it again. Then act.

  • Have a lead list? Call one right now.
  • Been meaning to post on LinkedIn? Write three lines and hit publish.
  • Need to follow up? No more drafts. Send it.

Stop treating prospecting like it’s optional. Stop treating social media like a nice-to-have. This is your visibility engine. This is how future clients find you.

Producers who win aren’t better. They’re just faster. They act while you hesitate. They post while you “wait for the right wording.”

Remember, your success isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present consistently.

After all, prospecting is the lifeblood of your business.
